Welcome to RockBox, the show that brings you the best of rock and metal every Tuesday. Our DJ’s love for music started at a young age with influences from legendary bands like The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, and grew into a passion for DJing at the age of 19. Although the 80s and 90s saw a rise in electronic music, we never forgot our true love for rock music.

In 2010, we started hosting rock nights in Newcastle upon Tyne and by 2016, we joined Nova Radio North East as a complete novice, eager to learn and listen. It was here that the concept of The RockBox Radio Show was born. With over 215 shows under our belt, our goal remains the same: to inspire our listeners to check out new bands and albums that they may not have heard before.
