THE COLOR RED RADIO SHOW

Mike is a well-established music and media producer with decades of experience in Japan. He began his music career in 1977 as the lead vocalist of the legendary punk band, “The Rotters”. In the 80s, he worked as an assistant to Rodney Bingenheimer on KROQ Los Angeles.

In Japan, Mike made history as the first foreigner to become the General Manager of a major broadcasting station, TV Tokyo owned InterFM. He has produced a few smash hit programs, including the popular “The Colour Red Radio Show” which airs on Voodoo Radio Online.

Mike’s passion for music extends beyond producing and hosting radio shows. He recently fulfilled his life’s dream with the release of “Ghostroads – A Japanese Rock and Roll Ghost Story”, a full-length motion picture that premiered at the prestigious Raindance Film Festival in London and enjoyed a theatrical release in Japan and Canada. Mike is also co-writing a feature film with Hollywood director Stephen David Brooks starring legendary Japanese actress Momoi Kaori.

As a jury member for life at Raindance Film Festival, Mike is deeply involved in the world of film and media. He will host “Bang! Pop! Japan” on the History Channel in Japan, a definitive catalogue of today’s Japanese underground music.
